Comments Page

The Page in this blog about my use and views of Facebook has been replaced by a new Page about Comments, with the following text:

Comments are strictly moderated for tone, style, and content, and not published until they have been approved. Errors of spelling and grammar are sometimes corrected and other formal weaknesses removed in comments deemed valuable.

I try to reply to many, but since it often takes a little time before I am able to do so, those who are interested in the reply are kindly asked to continue to check back or to click “Notify me of follow-up comments via email” in the Comment form.

It is appreciated if commentators use their complete, real names, and add in the comment or privately (either in a separate comment that will not be published, or on the Contact page where nothing is published) a few words about themselves and some information through which they can be properly identified.

Commentators who use pseudonyms, in accordance with the much too widespread culture of anonymity on the internet, are also encouraged to privately identify themselves in this way. This is not a requirement for publication, but anonymous commentators who do not do this cannot be prioritized with regard to my reply.
