Amazon has a page for the first edition, with an image of its cover and with the following description:

“This book is composed entirely of talks initiated between Bubba free John and groups of his disciples during the first year of his ‘public’ life, from April, 1972, to March, 1973. In The Method of the Siddhas, Bubba discourses on this great spiritual practice of Satsang, which he says is the ancient method of teaching, the great and radical tradition of all the ‘heaven-born’ Siddhas. Satsang, or the condition of conscious relationship to such a Siddha-Guru, is the ancient and timeless means adopted by these great ones for the sake of the transmission of living Truth. In The Method of the Siddhas we find an acknowledged Spiritual Master formulating a progressive communication of the nature and method of all the Siddhas. Here he is concerned to make known the responsibilities and conditions of discipleship, and all that is essential in life and understanding before the individual will be prepared for the graces and responsibilities of the highest form of sadhana, or spiritual practice.”

But since the name Bubba Free John is used instead of Franklin Jones, this text cannot be from the first edition.

This is Jones’s second book. In the first two editions, the names Franklin Jones and Bubba Free John, respectively, appear only in the subtitles.

The Significance of Franklin Jones

SSU och NATO

Socialdemokraternas ungdomsförbund har fattat beslut om att verka för NATO-utträde.

“Det går inte längre att lita på USA när Donald Trump sitter i Vita huset”, säger enligt Expressen SSU:s nya ordförande. “Kongressens beslut om Natoutträde grundar sig i att vi i stället vill se ett fördjupat försvarssamarbete i EU. Sverige och Europa behöver stå starka när världen gungar”, heter det, i enlighet med förra ordförandens uppfattning att “I en framtid där Donald Trump eller någon annan ur Republikanerna är president, och USA och Nato varken kan eller vill hjälpa oss, behöver vi en egen lösning för att försvara oss. Då är EU en bättre väg.”

Det kan förefalla utmärkt att SSU vill lämna NATO, och att de hela tiden varit mot vår anslutning. Det var också Kvinnoförbundet, Tro och Solidaritet och flera andra grupper och enskilda ledande personer inom partiet, och det är obegripligt och tragiskt att ändå inget som helst uppror mot partiledningen och dess generande integritetslösa beslut ägde rum. Man kunde hoppas att det är början på ett sådant vi ser nu.

Men SSU säger alltså att Sverige bör lämna NATO för att det inte går att “lita på” att Trump och Republikanerna kommer fortsätta “försvara oss”, d.v.s. att de befaras kunna förändra NATO från vad det hittills varit och skulle förbli under SSU:s favoriter Biden (Harris) och Demokraterna.

Det är ju just den gamla vanliga krigsalliansen NATO och dess alltmer intensifierade och globala aggression som är problemet. Det är medlemskapet i den som utsätter oss för helt nya risker.

Trump är självklart problematisk i sin oberäknelighet och även av flera andra skäl, men att han ibland åtminstone givit sken av att vilja ompröva NATO är ju ett litet framsteg. Det är verkligen inte vad som tycks vara SSU:s alternativ: att vända sig till de än värre atlantimperialisterna Merz, von der Leyen och Kallas.

SSU är emot Trump, inte NATO. De vill lämna NATO för att vi på grund av Trump riskerar att få allför lite NATO. Är detta vad även de övriga socialdemokrater som inte var med på ledningens otroliga kovändning härom året menar?

Nu meddelas också att SSU redan backat: “Nato är vår största säkerhet i dag och vi säger inte att vi ska lämna Nato i morgon. Men vi menar att vi behöver ha en långsiktig plan för framtiden.”

Väst är ett – om än långsamt – sjunkande skepp, som måste räddas undan sin nuvarande atlantregim. Sverige borde givetvis lämna NATO omedelbart. Och av samma skäl som tidigare gjorde att vi inte anslöt oss – inget annat.

Galloway och Macgregor

“Rule by the Rich”

Återigen: hur det underlättar att det finns så många som tydliggör åtminstone centrala politiska och ekonomiska aspekter av en den nödvändiga de överordnade värdenas socialistiska konservatism, så att man s.a.s. inte behöver göra det själv och i stället kan försöka ägna sig mer åt just de överordnade dimensioner som anges i undertiteln till denna blogg och i beteckningarna av flera av ämneskategorierna, och som saknas hos dessa viktiga analytiker.

Men som jag också framhållit: hur beklagligt det är att det just nu i Sverige inte finns något parti som representerar den nödvändiga nya politiken, inget parti som motsvarar vad jag en gång hoppades att SD och AfS inom en inte alltför avlägsen framtid skulle kunna utvecklas i riktning mot. Eller ens en annan typ av politisk organisation. Att bara kunna signalera, nämna, hänvisa till att man är medlem i ett sådant parti eller en sådan organisation skulle ju mycket effektivt kommunicera det politiska budskapet utan att man behövde gå igenom allt själv och skriva om det hela tiden, och därmed nedprioritera det som, i tingens yttersta ordning, verkligen är entydigt överordnat och därmed väsentligare – sådant som även den rätta politiken och samhällsordningen i slutändan är beroende av.

Nu kan man bara hänvisa till – dela, posta – de essentiella, partiella analyserna av andra, vid behov kommentera dem, och, när det känns särskilt påkallat eller t.o.m. oundvikligt, fortsätta skriva egna politiska inlägg. Och kanske därmed i bästa fall på avstånd, genom att bara tillhandahålla det här på internätet, bidra med något litet mått av uppmuntran och förslag, ett och annat djupare åskådningsmässigt perspektiv, till någon av dem som vill ägna sig åt ny politisk organisering och aktivism. Någon vars intressen, bakgrund, utbildning och allmänna mänskliga betingadhet gör det naturligt, ja just nu gör det till det optimala att ägna sig åt denna organisering och aktivism.

Naturnödvändigtvis kommer det ju alltid finnas oräkneliga människor som primärt eller rentav uteslutande vill ägna sig åt politik, för att inte tala om ekonomi. Just nu måste det bara bli tydligare vilken politik, vilken ny politik, som behövs.

Ingen egentligt intelligent person kan på allvar tro och framför allt inte vilja att det primitiva, vilda system Norton beskriver, och den undermänskliga kultur och troglomentalitet det alstrar, har en framtid. Det är ett enda stort, tungt, mörkt evolutionärt och andligt hinder för mänskligheten, ett hot mot alla högre värden och mot den mänskliga framtiden som sådan.
